Robert and Jenny have been providing collector grade minerals since 2014.

It all started in December 2014 with one rock found on a hike. It was fist sized and bright yellow. Turned out to be carnotite, an ore of uranium. Robert and Jenny started collecting minerals and exploring the old mines of the Four Corners area after that. In November of 2020, Robert opened an Etsy store to sell some of his collection and it took off from there. This website was created to offer a wider variety of minerals from the American Southwest.

Every radioactive mineral is tested on Ludlum Model 3 Geiger counters using 44-9 probes here in our shop. We use a combination of experience, historical mining records, and testing to identify our minerals. We value honesty and transparency in our identifications. If we don’t know, we will mark it as mixed minerals or the like.

Radioactive Minerals

All radioactive minerals are mined or sourced personally by the staff at Arizona Uranium from mines in the Four Corners area.

Non-Radioactive Minerals

Agates, Azurite, Gold ore, Silver ore, Volborthite and Malachite are just a few of the non-radioactive minerals that we find while at the mines and prospecting.

Petrified Wood

Our legal, petrified wood comes from three locations in Arizona.
