This is a small collection of ore taken from the dump of the Monument No. 1 in Northern Arizona. The rocks show multiple colors and many different minerals. Some pieces may not be radioactive, but are ore for other minerals that came from this mine. Production was a few hundred tons of V ore during the period 1942-1944. Several thousand tons of of ore were produced during the period 1952-1956. The mine was reclaimed by the EPA around 2008.
